Erik Samuelson has made the following request: -
"I am doing some research on penalties imposed on clubs where they appear to be lightly treated in comparison with what is being imposed on us by the FA. For example, Leeds apparently playing 6 loan players, one more than the limit, and getting off with a fine. If you have any examples of similar examples that look mild compared to ours then please send them to me at the office. Erik"If you have got any examples please send them for Erik's attention at the club's e-mail address.

Tonight after a poor first half we put on a dazzling second alf show and ensured that we put pressure on all the teams hoping to be involved in the playoff's this season. The Goal's started on 46 minutes when a steve Ferguson cross was headed home by Steve goddard, Just 3 minutes later Paul Lorraine scored his first goal for the club when he converted a Luke Garrard free kick, Antony howard made it a central defender double bill when he scored on 68 minutes before Roscoe Dsane finished it off on 76 minutes.

Tonight we face East thurrock United in the Ryman League at Kingsmeadow, if you cant make the game ad have access to the Internet you can follow all the action on this site by clicking the Matchday link above, The team news should be posted by 19:30 and then all the action from kick off at 19:45.
Here in the UK BBC Radio 5 have a regular phone in programme where supporters mainly of Premiership Major teams get to phone in and moan about how the lesser teams haven't just let them win by lots of goals, I'm sure you know the style of the show, although not as good as it's original format when Danny Baker used to host it, but last night "Mark" phoned in and mentioned about the FA Decision to exclude us from the competition. Alan Green the host gives his view on the decision, the clip is 1.3mb and lasts for just over 70 seconds, to listen click here.
Today was special, in a week which could of destroyed the club it was clear that today one word was clearly on show "Togetherness". On arriving at Kingsmeadow it was clear that everybody who was present from people who help, to people who had just come along to watch the football were determined that we would get through the current issues together.
Handouts were produced for everyone so that if you couldn't get to the meeting prior to the game you could get the latest news, this statement is now posted on the official Site for everyone to read. Bucket Collections were organised and I understand some o the non-playing players helped go round with the buckets, by he end of the day this had raised over £2,000 as the players ran out they all clapped all sides of the ground in a clear message of we are in this with you.
The atmosphere was great in the first half and even when we went behind on just 4 minutes, but before the Golden Goal details had been bought to the press box and the person returned to their part of the ground we were level, Luke Garrard was fouled on the edge of the box, and he stepped up to fire the ball beyond the keeper for a 1-1 score line. And before half time we were 2-1 up when Steve Goddard got on the end of a lewis Cook cross for a simple tap in, things were looking very good and smiles continued round the ground at half time.
For the second half we came out straight at them and after just 8 minutes of this half Steve Goddard got his second off thee game and our 3rd of the game the strange thing about this goal was that it mean all ours had been scored around 8 minutes from the dressing room, the 1st 8 mins after the start, the second mins before the break and now 8 mins since the break.
With the points looking more than safe their was a moment which made us a tiny bit worried when Harrow scored their second but just as the last time within 4 minutes we had scored again this time Lewis Cook took his turn to steep up for a free kick and fire it past the keeper. So a 4-2 score line and with most the other results being good it's been a good day all round, well all except for Darren Grieves injury it looks like he will be out for a couple of months as he has his leg in plaster for the next 6 weeks following the nasty ankle injury he suffered in the game.
Lets hope we can continue this togetherness for the remainder of the season and who knows what will happen. The Man of The Match vote is now open please click thee link below to cast your vote: -

Getting home tonight and the week took another turn in the madness of our justice system AFC Wimbledon Legend Trigger has been been sentenced to 6 months in prison for phone tapping, he even admitted the charge. Yes he was guilty but to give a prison sentence is madness. My thoughts are very much with Trigger and his family this weekend, it may turn out that he is only in over the weekend but it will be a very long weekend.
At lunchtime today the FA Kicked us out of the FA Trophy and also made us pay back the prize money from earlier rounds, this means that we have had to pay back £7,000 and wont receive the £5,000 for beating Gravesend so we have missed out in £12,000 the FA Claim we haven't been fined.
The reason for this expulsion is that during the 2005/06 season Jermaine Darlington was playing for Cardiff City with his last game for them on 30th April when he left Cardiff.
Although he didn't play for anyone in the early part of the season, and the League registration form asks for clubs you have played for this season the FA have ruled that we didn't get International Clearance for him, yes International clearance for a team who play in an English League, to make things worse we have now been charged by the league for not having a registered player, and we could be in danger of losing the points that we got in every game that Jermaine Darlington has played in, so far this equals 18 points we don't know about this yet and maybe a few weeks before we hear the outcome of this.
As you can imagine this is a large amount that the club in various ways will miss out on and therefore I am Launching a donation facility with every penny pledged going directly to the club if you wish to donate please click the button below.
Thanks to a comment made on the new comments board it's been bought to my attention that the previous results page wasn't up to date I have now updated this for most of the games and will make sure it's fully up to date by the end of tomorrow, to view all the results please click here.
Tonight we progressed past The Met Police after extra time with a 2-1 victory, Steve Goddard opened thee scoring early in the second half and then Robin Shroot scored the winner early in the second half of extra time in a goal that seemed to hit the post 3 times players on the line 3 times before Robin finished from close range. In the quarter finals we now face Egham Town after they beat Sutton United 3-2, and in the league both Chelmsford and Heybridge Swifts lost whilst Harrow won 5-0 against Slough Town.
Tonight we face Met Police in the Surrey Senior Cup and I will be doing matchday updates from around 19:30 tonight, if you wish to make comments during the game that you wish me to pick up after the game don't forget to use the new comments facility by clicking here.

I'm sure a lot of people have been thinking why haven't I mentioned the news about the FA inquiry into our FA Trophy game, well the reason is that apart from what has been said on the Official Site I don't know anything more.
Reading various boards plenty of rumors are doing the rounds in my opinion it doesn't do any good to comment on these as we don't know what the actual charge relates to speculation doesn't really help. I'm sure the club is making sure that we are able to present our case on Thursday and once that has happened we will be informed of the outcome.
If you want to talk about this or any other story I have on the site I'm adding a new feature to the site where you can leave comments to do so click the following link and post under the relevant heading. Post a comment.
We have now played 3 games since the half way mark in the league season was reached and the average suggestion of he number of points we would end up with was 84 points of the three games we played the average was a draw against Chelmsford at Home a victory at Worthing and a draw at Chelmsford away. So based on these 3 games we are on 1 point less than predicted in these games. Taking the predictions for the remained of the season the new estimate is now 82 points.
Most people associate the amazon shop with Books and DVD's but they have loads more sections of their store and to give you an idea and more importantly a reminder I have now created a dedicated page showing various links. The swings and roundabouts season we have had so far his season continued this afternoon, at the start of this week 4 points from the two games would of been looked upon as a good week but the last minute goal at Worthing meant we would have to do it the hard way Not only did we do it the hard way but in Style as well a 3-0 victory with goals from Roscoe Dsane and two more for Steve Goddard even Anthony Howard got in the act with a header from a corner but the ref seemed to suggest that he pushed the player and disallowed the goal. More to follow later tonight but as I am updating this going round the M25 you will understand it's a bit Short.
This afternoon we face Chelmsford City this time away and we will be hoping to change the result from last time round. If you cant make the game this afternoon I will be providing the usual matchday updates and to follow the action click the matchday link above.
Well that's what it felt like earlier tonight at Worthing as Worthing snatched a point in the final minute of the game. We took the lead in the 41st Minute when Steve Goddard latched onto a Wes Daly ball ad then managed to Smash it past the keeper. We had chances in the second half to extend the lead but we couldn't managed it and then following a corner a major scramble took place in the box and somehow the ball ended up in the back of the net.

As promised Dave Anderson has completed a one month loan signing of Steve Ferguson from Woking. Steve comes in now the loan of Scott Fitzgerald has finished but wont be able to play in any Trophy games as he played in Woking's 3-1 defeat to Salisbury in the 1st Round.
The FA Trophy draw was fairly nice to us today and this time round gave us a Home game still against a Conference team. This time round it is against Rushden & Diamonds who currently are placed 22nd in the league.
I Have realised that the results haven't been published for the last two games so here are the links for them.

Yesterday's trip to Gravesend saw us play in a traditional football ground with an open to the element terrace with decent terracing for the away fans, whilst the home fans could either sit behind the other goal or under cover down one side of the pitch. The Gravesend message board suggests that we had at least half of thee 2,106 crowd and with all but a couple of hundred on the terrace it made for a great atmosphere.
The Wind was Blowing straight at us and Gravesend attacked us in the first half and it was clear that Gravesend's main threat was going to come from the pace of their strike force which was clearly fast but didn't really have any clear efforts on goal. The best chance of the first half fell to Darren Grieves who had a great header but this went right across the goal and out for a goal kick. So the scores were level at half time.
Right from the start of the second half we seemed to attack them and we had some nice moves and one that reached Roscoe on the edge of the box looked very promising until the ref blew for offside. Gravesend were quick to catch on any possession and they forced a corner but we won possession back and from 40 Yard Luke Garrard fired in a great shot it went just wide with the keeper beaten but the ref gave a corner. This part comes in two versions the first is what I saw the second is what happened.
1) The corner on the Right was taken and then 30 seconds later madness thee terrace in front of me cleared and we all tried to stay on our feet as Roscoe had put the ball into the net.
2) The Corner was taken on the right, Gravesend had chances to clear it it reached Antony Howard who had a shot into the six yard box Roscoe got a touch on it and then Madness as per above.
As we moved into injury times apparently 5 minutes was signaled by the end of the 8th minute we thought what was going on and then the whistle blew for full time and a return to the madness that had followed the goal as the team celebrated on the pitch and showed their appreciation of us.

This afternoon we won 1-0 at Gravesend thanks to a 56 minute goal by Roscoe Dsane and there progress to the last 16 of the FA Trophy.
This afternoon we switch away from league action and are involved in FA Trophy action when we visit current 4th placed conference side Gravesend & Northfleet, this will be the third conference side we have faced this season with the two previous being Exeter and Aldershot. If you cant make the game this afternoon the matchday updates will bee in operation from around 14:45 through to the final whistle.
Tonight we lost to Chelmsford 2-1 with both of their goals coming in 2 minutes. I will put more up on wednesday but if you wish to vote for the Man of The Match please click the link below.
Hopefully the only people reading the matchday updates tonight will be people that live a long way away or due to family commitments cant make the game, but I'm sure other people will be as well and they are just as welcome. So if you can't make the game tonight Matchday updates will be in action, from around 19:30 when I will post the team news followed by all the action from kick off at 19:45 to follow the action click the Matchday link at the top of the screen.
I have now closed the predictions for the second half of the season thanks to everyone who voted the average number of points that people thought we would end up getting an additional 45 points, the predictions for tonight's games is as follows: -

Tonight we face Chelmsford at Kingsmeadow and it would be great to have Kingsmeadow rocking with loads of noise during the game, Chelmsford are a good side with a large number of them made up of last years Canvey Island team but as we have seen this season we are capable of beating conference teams, so although this is a league game let's cheer the team on in a game that could really push us into the major mix for the promotion and play-off places at the end of the season.
We are now half way through the season and our league record compared to last season is as follows: -

I am writing this on the coach back from Ramsgate, the game finished 1-1 but on the whole this will be a big point. With worry about the weather it was a surprise for us to arrive in Ramsgate to find it dry.
The first talking point happened on 12 minutes when it appeared that Steve Goddard and a Ramsgate attacker both went for the same ball on the edge of the box, to the surprise of Ramsgate and the shock of us the ref awarded a penalty and Ramsgate put it away for a 1-0 lead. In the first half we dominated play but Ramsgate played every trick in the book, the main one being blatant time wasting but we were unable to convert our chances.
The second half we seemed to take a while to get going but then with 15 minutes to go Luke Garrard came on and he seemed to lift us a bit, then with 7 minutes left Luke played the ball to Jermaine Darlington who was 30 yards out on the diagonal he took a step forward and fired the goal goal bound their is a suggestion that Darren Grieves may have got a touch to the ball but it ended up in the back of he net and the scores were level. Late on both teams had chances to win it but it wasn't to be, and the points were shared.

Just a quick update but 3 words that sum up tonight, the rain lashed down and with a strong wind blowing it into our faces it looked like it would be a long night but a stunning performance saw us come away with a 3-1 victory goals from Dsane on 7 minutes a Dsane penalty on 37 minutes and then a steve goddard goal to seal the points in the 90 minute sent the AFC wimbledon fans home very happy
Tonight we face Bromley in the Ryman Premier League, the game is due to kick off at 19:45 and hopefully I will have the team news by 19:30 and all the action from kick off at 19:45.
Bromley have drawn their last 4 games including after being 3-1 up on Saturday against Worthing, and will be out to get back to winning ways but after our results against Heybridge and Walton we will be aiming to continue this good run.
Tomorrow night we visit Bromley in a League game this is the start of a number of games against teams that have an eye on the playoff's and more this season. It would appear that fast trains to Bromley South come out of Victoria and London Bridge once you get to Bromley South it's about a 15 minute walk to Hayes Lane and as you will have seen on the official Site Bromley will be having segregation and by the look of it we will have the end that Rob Ursell scored at in November 2004.
First of all Happy New Year to everyone who reads the site.
