This afternoon I purchased Football Manage 2006 which of course is the feature game that SI Games makes, but rather than just diving in and playing one of the leagues I thought I would create one of my own with the editor that is included.
I started by removing the 12 clubs out of the Scottish Premier League and then selecting 12 clubs to replace them, I have based it on teams who have some sort of fan ownership in them so the 12 teams are AFC Wimbledon, FC United, Stockport, Exeter, York, Wrexham, Brentford, AFC Telford, Enfield Town, Newport IOW, Clydebank and Chesterfield.
I have so far completed pre-season and played the first two league games the first was a trip to Griffin Park where Brentford turned me over 6-0 and then the second game was home to FC United and after going behind in the 1st minute we were then level at half time thanks to a sonny Farr header before Shane Smeltz latched on to a keeper mistake to fire home early in the second half. we managed to hold on and after being bottom after the first game now sit in 6th place.
The game is very real to life with Rob Ursell and Matt Everard out long term and almost a full squad of current youth team under 19 players. For added realism Richard Butler managed to get injured just before the start of season and Steve Butler sent off for two yellow cards against Brentford. So I have already had a number of selection problems but we will see how I do during the season.
Football Manager 2006 is available for PC and Mac from the amazon store and costs £24.99 compared to the high street price of around £30.00 so if you wish to buy it please click the amazon link or for the direct link please click the following link Football manager 2006.
As you may have noticed from the graphic the amount you have to spend at the Amazon store to receive "free delivery" has been reduced from £19 to £15. Free Delivery means that it will be sent to you by post around 5 days after you have ordered it but if you can wait a few days more it makes the purchases even more of a good price.
All commission earned is passed on to the stadium fund and therefore not only do you buy items at prices that could well be less than high street prices but it's helping the stadium fund at the same time.
The payout for the period that ended at the end of September was made at the end of this week and although it looked like £130 would be paid out I am pleased to report that the actual amount was £154.75 and I will be writing out and handing a cheque to the dons trust for this amount this week. Once again thanks again to everyone who has purchased items and helped with this total.

After the disappointment in midweek it was a well polished performance this afternoon as we came out 4-0 winners at Windsor. Windsor may not have been of the quality of recent opponents but you still have to put everything together to come away with a good result.
Of the four goals we had a trade mark header from a corner a richard Butler effort where he refuses to give up a ball that looked lost a penalty and then the only goal of the second half a ball that reached Richard Butler right by the touch line on half way he controlled it and played it across the pitch linking up Barry Moore who then played it out to Harvey who crossed it in for Richard Butler to head home in a crowded area, This was a goal that if it had been scored in the Premiership would be on constant repeats.
At 1-0 Windsor could of leveled the score but a well struck shot came back off the inside of the post and a Windsor player was offside so we could regroup.
This was a brilliant all round performance with every player putting in a good performance and the bonus of a clean sheet was nice to see as well. The result leaves us 6th in the table although we have played more games than most the other teams a good run now could put us right in contention come the end of the season.
This afternoon we are in action at Windsor and the Matchday service will be up and running from around 14:30 once I have the confirmed team news, after that you can follow all the action almost as it happens by clicking the matchday link above.

Just to wish congratulations to Brighton & Hove Albion who yesterday morning got permission to build a new Stadium at Falmer on the outskirts of Brighton. Brighton have been homeless for 7 years when previous owner sold the Goldstone Ground to a retail Developer. since then they have shared at Gillingham and currently the Withdean athletics stadium. The supporters and club have put up an excellent campaign and finally they have got the go ahead from John Prescott.
The plan is for the 23,000 all seater stadium to open in 2008 but at least today after years of heartache and frustration the Brighton fans can celebrate, the future. And who knows we could be one of the first clubs to visit them in a pre-season friendly due to the affinity held between the two clubs.
On Saturday we make the second trip of the season to the ground as they also host Slough Town. In terms of traveling by train it's a nice straight forward journey taking under an hour from Clapham Junction Trains depart at 08: and 38 minutes past the hour and arrive at 54: and 24 minutes past the hour.
Once you arrive in windsor it's about a 15 minute walk, follow the road up past the Big housey thing on the left although if you fancy something to eat you have a complete range of available place on the right with McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Star bucks and almost every chain you can imagine follow this road to the end then turn right past the barracks and then head towards the hospital this will take you to st leonard's road go straight across the road but take the right hand side and the ground is a bit further on the left.I wonder if the locals who stay at the 'big housey thing' will pop along and watch their local team or will they go out peasant shooting or whatever they do at weekends.

Wayne Finnie 7 Votes 9.72%

Well it certainly been that in the past 3 days as an AFC Wimbledon fan after the celebrations on Saturday tonight we lost 2-0 at Bromley with goals at the end of the first half and the start of the second. To make things worse we ended the game without a recognised striker as first Shane smeltz went off injured on 40 minutes and then Matt Fowler was sent off with a straight red on the 75 minute mark and it looks likes he will pick up a 3 match ban.
A couple of questions that I was thinking about late in the game today and also on the way home, How would a team do if they lost 2 of the main players down the spine of the team, most teams wouldn't do as well as normally so to lose 3 in Richard Butler, Steve Butler and Barry Moore with suspensions all on the same day was always going to be difficult.
If we had lost to Fisher 2-0 and beat Bromley 1-0 what would the reaction be? So in effect we have come out of the two games with 3 points and it's just important that on Saturday we put this result to one side and get points back on the board.

This evening we visit Bromley in the league as ever the Matchday Text Service will be in operation from around 19:30 once I have the confirmed team news and then all the action posted within seconds of it happening on the pitch. If you haven't used the matchday live service before click the Matchday link at the top of the page.
Both of last night's games had drama from the start to the final whistle this is a review of the games as per the information I have found on other sites.
Chelmsford Vs Staines - Staines took an early lead on just 4 minutes but then Chelmsford stunned the visitors with 3 goals before half time and the score at half time was 3-1 to the home team in the second half it was reversed and Staines scored 3 times and were leading 4-3 with just a couple of minutes left but Chelmsford scored again and managed a share of the points.
Fisher Vs Margate - Fisher went 1-0 up in the first half and this was still the case at half time in the second half Margate leveled before Fisher were awarded an 88th minute penalty which Hamid Barr put away for a 2-1 victory but once again the talking point was some of the Fisher challenges with even a fisher Fan saying Leroy Griffths should of been sent off for what looked like a stamp on a Margate player, Steve Watts was also putting in some challenges that some saw as borderline.
So Fisher and Staines have swapped placed in the table with fisher moving up to 2nd in the table from 3rd.
Tomorrow night we make the trip to Hayes Lane Bromley the nearest Station is Bromley South and if you are commuting from central London you can get a fast train from Victoria to Bromley South station. From Wimbledon you can get a Tram all the way to Beckenham Junction and then jump on a train for one stop to Bromley south. As you come out thee station turn left down the hill and follow the road round to the Right then take Hayes Road which I think is the first left hand turning take this all the way to the end but where it forks take the right hand road and then at the bottom cross the road and turn right and the ground should be on the left.
With 2 games tonight and another 9 tomorrow it's the first time this season that the teams will have met both Home and away in League Action. The results from the first series of games on 5/6th September was as follows: -
AFC Wimbledon 1 v 1 Bromley
Billericay Town 2 v 3 Maldon Town
Folkestone Invicta 1 v 2 Worthing
Hampton & Richmond 3 v 0 Wealdstone
Harrow Borough 5 v 4 East Thurrock United
Heybridge Swifts 0 v 3 Braintree Town
Margate 1 v 1 Fisher Athletic
Slough Town 3 v 2 Redbridge
Staines Town 3 v 0 Chelmsford City
Walton & Hersham 1 v 0 Hendon
On saturday 3 Ryman Premier teams Folkestone, Bromley & Braintree and 2 Ryman Division One Teams Cray and Ramsgate were involved in FA Cup 4th Round Qualifying Action and incredibly 3 of them have progressed into thee 1st Round Proper. So congratulations to all of them and especially who progressed to the 1st round proper.
Folkestone won at Aylesbury 2-0, Braintree at Crawley 1-0 and Ramsgate 3-0 at home against Cirencester Town. Notable mention should also go to Cray Wanderers who lost 1-0 away against Grays and Bromley who also lost 1-0 at home to aldershot.
With the next round taking place on the weekend of 5th November it looked like we would not have a home game that date and also mean that tomorrow we would start a run of 5 away games but a quick bit of work has seen the Home game that was going to be Midweek has now been moved to Saturday 5th November.
I have once again combined the Donsonline video footage with the Radio Wdon commentary for the goal. The movie is once again in Quicktime movie format which should work also in Real Player you can download the clip by clicking here I would recommend downloading quicktime player which will allow you to view in a larger screen and will guarantee that it works, to download the windows version please click here.
It just over 2 months before Christmas so it might be time for you to think what you need for the festive season, a good place to look is the amazon store via the link on each page, as well as the usual Books, CD's and DVD's that they sell under the Home and Garden section you can find Christmas Trees and Decorations that you may need, I'm sure you don't want to spend hours trying to sort out the lights that your struggled with last year.
Don't forget after clicking the amazon link any purchases made in that trip earn commission for the Stadium Fund so not only do you get to avoid the high street but the club benefit as well.

Well it wasn't a case of Fish being Battered more our players but we came out clear winners in the gripping match. It's been mentioned elsewhere about the physical nature of the game but having watched Fisher 3 previous times they didn't seem to play much different to how they normally do. As I mentioned yesterday we needed to be focused for the whole 90 minutes and that was definite case today.
The goal was a nice turn and shot by Matt Fowler but the keeper will want to forget what he did next as it seemed to clip through his hands and legs and into the back of the net so we went in 1-0 up at Half Time.
We continued the composed nature of our performance and the only real threat was when Fisher almost caught Andy Little off his line but he managed to catch the ball as he was falling back before it crossed the line.
The final whistle was greeted with great celebration by the AFC Wimbledon players and supporters maybe this is the point we can look back on at the end of season as turning the season, but the thing to make sure is that we continue the momentum at Bromley on Tuesday Night.
This afternoon the Matchday service will be in operation as we take on Fisher Athletic. Updates should start around 14:30 when the team news is confirmed and then from Kick off to the Final whistle all the action as it happens. To follow the action click the Matchday link in the top menu.

Tomorrow we have a big test when Fisher visit Kingsmeadow, so far this season I have seen fisher play 3 times, all at home and they have won all three games with scores of 4-3, 2,0 and 4-2 and whilst they score goals they don't look that convincing in defence and they seem to rely on the fact that they think they can outscore the team they are playing, sometimes this even relies on a 10 minute spell in the second half where they have scored a couple of quick goals.
Up front they have the attacking strength of Steve Watts and Leroy Griffiths that lead the line and have loads of pace. A couple of names that may be familiar to Wimbledon fans are the Piper brothers Chris and Lenny both were at Wimbledon FC and played in the very good youth teams, unfortunatley neither made it into the first team although Lenny went on to play League football for Gillingham before moving round the non-league scene a bit.
One thing that may be an advantage to us is that Dwayne Plummer has already played against Fisher in a League game in a game that has so far has resulted in Fisher's only league defeat, a w-0 loss at Staines Town. Lets hope that Dwayne can chalk up a nice double but it's a game we will have to be on our guard from the first whistle to the last one and also need us supporters to be in good voice.
For people who cant make games and follow either via Radio Wdon or the text updates one of the features that always accompanied it was being able to post on the Weird and Wonderful World guest book but as you will be aware with it taking up a lot of Marc Jones time he closed it down I am pleased to announce that the people behind the Womble Underground Press fanzine have put together a replacement and if you haven't found it yet you can read and post views 24 hours a day over at http://www.afcwgb.co.uk all the regular's are posting and so it's a good place to have a read and a laugh, remember it's technically an online pub so as with most pubs anything and everything goes, so don't be surprised if you visit it and it seems that people aren't discussing football.
The youth side tonight lost 12-11 on penalties in the FA Cup the score at End of full time was 1-1 then 2-2 at the end of extra time but after a lengthy penalty shoot out sandhurst came out the winners, well done to them, and hard luck to our lads.
On Thursday Evening the Youth side are involved in the next round of the Youth FA Cup when we take on Sandhurst, in what should of been an away game the game has had to be switched to Kingsmeadow as Sandhurst have a major floodlight problem at present.
The game get's under way at 19:45 and under FA rules you have to charge for admission so it £3 for adults. Unlike the previous round I wont be providing any live updates as I won't be at the game so sorry for anyone who cant make the game as soon as I get in and get informed of the result, or any details of the game I will of course post it up here. If you can get along please do so as the last round was a very good game and it's a good chance to see a few potential stars of the future on display.
Thanks to a bit of editing with the Radio Wdon commentary and the Donsonline footage I have put together the goal with commentary the first few seconds have a blank screen as the ball has just gone behind and Wes Daly prepares to take the corner then we join the action. The clip is 3.6mb and is in quick time movie format I have tested it in Quick time and Real Player and it works fine I will try and get a windows media version running to cover everyone. To view or download the clip click here.
A kings Lynn far recorded the commentary from Saturday's game but the serve it was placed on was very slow (even on broadband) so I have downloaded it split the file in two and uploaded here where hopefully it will be a bit quicker.
The first part starts at around 14:45 so you have a bit of build up the whole of the first half then some half time analysis the file is 26.2mb and can be downloaded here
The second half starts as the teams come out to just after the final whistle and is 21.8mb and you can hear it by clicking here
The FA have updated the disciplinary list and it looks like either Bromley or Windsor & Eton which are both Away games we will be without Steve Butler, Richard Butler and Barry Moore who have all been sent suspensions Richard's and Barry's are for picking up 5 bookings and Steve's is for his sending off at Hampton & Richmond, all three players have got one match bans.
The reason it is either Bromley or Windsor & Eton is that Bromley are involved in the FA Cup on saturday when they play Aldershot, if the match is drawn the replay is next week and therefore our game would be called off and it would be held over to our next game played.
As you may have seen on the message board a couple of posts were made where people who are using what I believe is a 800 by 600 screen resolution are having problems viewing the full league table. I have therefore for these users produced a separate page for the league table and you can view it by clicking here. This will be updated after each game along with the main table.
If you have any other problems with the site please drop me a line or post it on the Guest book and I will try and resolve them one way or another.
Over the past year I have been actively promoting the Amazon Link on the site and although it may seem a bit repetitive the following figures may well give you an idea as to why I do it. Each purchase made results in commission being paid to myself as soon as this is paid to me, just after the end of each quarter a cheque is written out for the same amount to the Dons Trust Stadium Fund and therefore helps reduce the debt that we owe on the stadium.
Over the past year people who have made purchases have contribute towards over £500 being paid to the stadium fund.
October to December 2004 £125.00
January to March 2005 £80.00
April to June 2005 £185.00
July to September 2005 £130.00
Only a couple of weeks into the new quarter we have had a great start and with the big christmas period still to come the stadium fund could benefit nicely out of christmas presents that are purchased after clicking the link. So if you are advanced planning for christmas have a look round the store
For only the second time this season the first team don't have a midweek game following the 1-0 victory yesterday. This means we can spend the full week and both the Tuesday and Thursday training sessions concentrating on next weeks game against Fisher Athletic.
Although the First team are not in action the Reserves are playing on Wednesday night when we play Netherne Village in the Surrey Premier Cup. The game is on at Croydon Athletics ground. On Thursday we play the next round of the FA Youth cup when we are up against Sandhurst Town, the game was due to be played earlier this week but Sandhurst have a problem in that whilst work was being carried out on the floodlights at their ground the Floodlight collapsed and so the game has had to be switched to Kingsmeadow.
If you wish to catch some AFC Wimbledon action this week get along to either one of these games.

Our 1-0 victory over King's Lynn and Ramsgate's 4-2 victory over Northwood means that on the free date on the fixture list of 12th November we are off to the Kent Coast for the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.
It was great to get a victory after so many recent draws and I think it's a good result, this was a physical encounter that saw a couple of bookings but the bookings that were made seemed a bit strange although thee decisions seemed to balance themselves out as he was giving bad decisions against both teams. Two examples Richard Butler was clearly onside and through on goal and was flagged offside and another the linesman gave a free kick right in front of him to us and the ref gave it to Kings Lynn, Kings Lynn should of had a penalty when the it was a case of handball by Steve Butler and he gave nothing, also Matt Fowler appeared to punch the ball out of play and the ref gave us a throw. It wasn't just me thinking these were strange decisions but the Kings Lynn officials.
We clearly had the better of the second half and once again Wes Daly smacked one off the bar and Dave Sargent couldn't direct the rebound on Target. But with just under 15 minutes left Antony Howard got his head on a cross and fired it into the back of the net for the only goal that was allowed. In the first half Kings Lynn had a goal disallowed, which possibly would of been a Steve Butler Own Goal for Offside.
After our goal we had a couple of very good chances including a couple of one on ones but the keeper managed to impose himself and block the chances. Overall we deserved the victory and maybe a tiny fraction of the luck we have lacked over the past few weeks.
After the Matchday service last night that saw a result of Fisher 4 Hendon 2 it's our turn to be in the FA Trophy as we take on Kings Lynn at Kingsmeadow.
The winners of this tie know they will visit Ramsgate or Northwood in the next round. If you can make the game you have three ways to keep up with the action either my every popular Text Updates (via the Matchday link above) Radio Wdon and this afternoon Radio Norfolk will be having live commentary and you may be able to listen by clicking here

Tonight I bring you additional live coverage on the Matchday live service. The FA Trophy starts tonight with a clash of two Ryman Premier teams and a game that should have extra interest for us AFC Wimbledon Fans as our opponents next weekend Fisher host Hendon who should have both Mark Cooper and Jeff Campbell playing for them.
The two games I have seen at Fisher have had a number of goals so to follow the action from 19:45 tonight click the above link.
This Saturday we have a break from League Action when we enter the FA Trophy in the 1st Qualifying round and host Kings Lynn. It's a game that we hope doesn't end in a draw and need a replay as I think we would need to set off straight after the game to reach Kings Lynn in time, (Only joking if any linnets pop by).
Kings Lynn play in the Southern Premier division and currently sit 4th in the table with a record of Played 11 Won 6 Drawn 1 Lost 4 For 18 against 10 and 19 points. Away from home the record in league games reads Won 3 lost 3.
It looks like they are a team who's games have goals in their last three games they have Lost 2-3, Won 5-0 and Won 2-1 so 9 goals scored and 4 against in three games.
If the game was to go to a replay it looks like it will be played on Tuesday night.
And before someone else says it I know because it was due to the fact that we didn't score more goals than. Even after we were reduced to 10 men the Hampton keeper made two amazing saves, ok one may have been a bit lucky where it hit the underside of the bar then the back of his head and he then fell on it. We also managed to hit the bar and then A Richard Butler attempted lob look like it had the keeper beaten but he somehow clawed it away from the line and into his body.
If we continue playing like this our luck has got to change and in a big way let's hope it starts changing this Saturday.
After having to combine the two poll results for Saturday's Man Of The Match we have ended up with a three player tie, so well done to Matt Fowler, Wayne and Barry and the full result sis as follows: -
Barry Moore 14 Votes 20.00%
Matt Fowler 14 Votes 20.00%
Wayne Finnie 14 Votes 20.00%
Antony Howard 9 Votes 12.86%
Wes Daly 6 Votes 8.57%
Stefan Wojciechowski 5 Votes 7.14%

Tonight we lost 2-1 at Hampton and Richmond but it was the best we had played all season which made it so hard to work out. After being 1-0 up from a Wes Daly goal in 26 minute it all went wrong when just two minutes into the half Steve Butler committed a foul on the edge of the area and as well as a free kick being awarded he was shown a straight red card. From the free kick a scramble in the box ended up with hampton pulling level. Then on 63 minutes we were caught out out a corner and they went 2-1 up.
We battled really had and at the end the large AFC Wimbledon contingent gave the players a great reception as they left the pitch and they responded and you could see how disappointed they were. (More information tomorrow)
As ever the matchday Live text service will be in operation from around 19:15 tonight when we take on Hampton & Richmond, if you haven't used the matchday service before it's the place to find all the action as it happens and can be accessed via clicking the Matchday link at the top of the page.
Last season hampton & Richmond missed out on the play-offs on the last day of the season, in fact on goal difference and if they had not been beaten they would of made the play-off's even with Leyton winning elsewhere. If a team suffers a disappointment like that it can affect how they start the following season but Hampton hit the floor running and managed to rack up 7 wins was an incredible start and they only dropped points for the first time when they lost 4-3 at Fisher since that defeat they have gone through a bit of a sticky period as they have only won 1 more game although only 2 of the 4 have been league games, They beat Leyton at home before losing at Braintree and and in an FA Cup 2nd round qualifying tie they drew with Leatherhead before losing the replay.
Ask any Hampton fan and they will say that they aren't going to win the league but they are aiming for a Play-off spot and this start should put them well on the way to that finish but's let hope we can take advantage and finally end the run of draws and bring home all three points, they are strong at home but after the good second half performance on Saturday lets get the victory.
On Tuesday evening we make the short trip to Hampton & Richmond, In fact if you normally travel to Kingsmeadow it's just 4 stops further on and then a short walk to the ground.
The train times from wimbledon are 29 and 59 minutes past the hour and take about 25 minutes for the return journey trains depart Hampton at 21 and 51 minutes past the hour.
Once you have arrived at Hampton Station the following map will give you an idea of the distance to the station. view here the station can be seen on the left hand side of the screen and the ground in on beaver close although the red circle may be just to the side of it.Thanks to a post on the guest book (cheers Balti) it has been pointed out that I missed off Barry Moore off the voting for Man Of The Match in yesterday's game so i have had to re-start the vote, but don't worry if you have already voted as when the vote closes on Tuesday evening I will combine the two sets of figures to find the correct Man Of The Match so you don't have to vote again. if you haven't voted yet please use the link in the left hand menu or a bit further down the page to cast your vote.
This week's midweek programme has been reduced after a number of teams drew FA Cup games yesterday and therefore the replay are being played this week. With games taking place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it's going to be a week of numerous updates of the league table but if you wish to look at the Head To Head Position click the head to head link at the top of the page.

Over the past three games the performances have been getting better but once again today we were left with only 1 point at the end of it. The early start appeared us to start a bit slower and when we failed to react to a quickly taken free kick Billericay scored when they converted the free kick with a simple finish side footed home from 10 yards.
The whole game seemed to pass at an incredible speed and the second half at lightning speed within the second minute of the half we were awarded a free kick and up stepped the Free Kick King, in Barry Moore and who once again planted the ball into the top corner and the scores were level.
With almost the full half to play we put Billericay under stacks of pressure but we just seemed to be just missing the bit of luck we need at the moment. Matt Fowler had a couple of very good chances including one effort that came off the outside of the post.
On the final whistle the players let to a great reception and they responded to it everyone who had been present knew that we had done more than enough to get all the points and I am sure we will be back on the winning train in the very near future.
.Today's match kicks off at 13:30 so it's a case of an early start all round today including the Matchday service. The updates should get under way from about 13:00 with the team news and then all thee action as it happens as we take on Billericay in one of only two Ryman Premier League games today, the other is Maldon Town vs East Thurrock United.

Tonight we had another 1-1 draw we took the lead just after half time when Wes Daly finished from close range after a Shane smeltz shot was parried, but Wealdstone scored within a couple of minutes. The frustration of the night was made worse when scores elsewhere would of seen us move into the play-off picture.
Tonight we take on Wealdstone at Kingsmeadow and the text update service will be in operation from around 19:30 as we look to continue the good performance of saturday and pick up the three points as well.
If you haven't used the Matchday service before please click the Matchday link above and you will get text reports of all the action as it happens.
The results from the three games last night were as follows: -
Chelmsford City 1 Walton & Hersham 1
Fisher Athletic 2 Heybridge Swifts 0
Folkestone Invicta 1 East Thurrock United 0
This moved Fisher into 2nd place with 23 points rom 10 games.
With 3 games taking place in the Ryman League tonight and one just 15 minutes away from me I thought it would bee another good chance to have a look at Fisher Athletic as they take on our opponents from last Saturday Heybridge Swifts.
Last time I visited Fisher it turned into an entertaining 4-3 victory for them against league leaders Hampton & Richmond. You will be able to follow the major incidents via the matchday updates and the link above.

Just got back from Heybridge (almost 10pm) so a quick bit of information regarding the major talking point in the good 1-1 draw this afternoon, With the score at 1-0 to Heybridge and about 5 minutes left Heybridge were awarded a penalty after the ball bounced off the ball and hit Steve Butler under his arm. Heybridge penalties are taken by Paul Nicholls the goalkeeper who has score 11 out of 11 penalties and last year even scored a free kick, he stepped up and fired it straight down the middle and Andy Little managed to save it, we couldn't force it down the other end to score but in the final minute richard Butler turned and fired in following a Sonny Farr cross to give us a well deserved share of the points.
Talking to Andy after the game he said he couldn't take full credit for the save and that Speedo deserved some credit. On the coach journey over Simon Sobihy spoke to one of his mates who said if you concede a penalty the keeper will take it and blast it straight down the middle, simon passed this on to Andy and this was to be the case so with regards to the penalty well done Simon and Andy.
This afternoon we travel to Heybridge in the Ryman League, if you are traveling to the game lets get right behind the guys for the whole game and hopefully cheer them back to winning ways. The big Threat from Heybridge will come from Cliff Akurang who was playing for Thurrock last season and was involved in the FA Cup defeat that we faced then.
If you cant make the game you can cheer the lads on from in front of your computer screen via the Matchday Live updates which can bee accessed by clicking the Matchday link above. Updates should start from around 14:30 with thee team news.
