  • 28/06/05 - Lets Get Podcasting

You may have seen the term 'Podcasting' on the internet over the past few months and thinking what's that about, or maybe you haven't but anyway. Podcasting is a way of providing an audio recording on demand that can automatically be download whenever it changes and then either listened to on your computer or added to your Digital audio Player to listen when you want to.

Well how can this work on this site? Well over the past year I have collected various audio clips as you can see in the Media section so by adding various clips together you get a 'show' my first attempt is very basic and only last for about 4 mins 25 seconds but it gives you an idea of what can be done.

In this montage we have 2 goal clips, a TV Clip, as well as a music clip.

To get the full benefit you will need a podcaster client there are plenty available and most are free you can find a list of them by clicking here If you use Apple iTunes on either Mac or PC the new version 4.9 has a podcaster client built into the software. Once you have loaded your 'client' select the add podcast feed option and then enter the following as the URL http://www.itmustbedons.com/feed.xml and it should then download the file for you to listen to when you want.

I would appreciate any feedback on this via the guest book so let me know if you think this is a good idea or not or if you have any problems.

10/06/05 - AFC Wimbledon Player Capped

last night became the first AFC Wimbledon to be awarded full men's international honors when he came on for the final couple of minutes as New Zealand lost 1-0 to Australia. It was a very enjoyable evening at Craven Cottage and really good to see so many wombles in attendance.

It was reported at several times during the SKY TV coverage you could hear the AFC Wimbledon chants and Shane acknowledged us during his warming up and after the game, it was a shame who only got on for a couple of minutes and the time he tried to get the ball saw the Australian player fouled and a free kick awarded.

Any way well done Shane and look forward to seeing you next season scoring goals for us. A number of the coaching set-up were at the game including Dave Anderson so you never know we could be seeing a couple of extra New Zealand players turning out for us in the not to distant future.
