28/03/99
In an interview in the Sunday People Joe says he hopes to be back on the bench by the end of the season.
It does not look like he will need a by-pass op based on the tests he had this week.

27/03/99
The Sun reports that Sam is considering bringing in either Dave Bassett or Bobby Gould till the end of the season to boost the team a bit. Last week on the train back from Blackburn Sam was asked about Harry returning to the club while Joe is off sick and Sam went very quite, could this be the reason why?
International Weekend so no matches this weekend. Two of the dons selected to play for their countries (Sully and Cunningham) have had the games called off due to the action in the Balkans.

26/03/99
In a very quite deadline day move yesterday the Dons signed goalkeeper Brian Parkin as cover for Third choice keeper Brendan Murphy who is injured at present.
Championship Manager 3 Released today.

25/03/99
With today being transfer deadline day we appear not to have signed or released anyone. We were linked with Strikers and Goalkeepers but with Joe Kinnear out of action it looks as though all moves have stopped.
The reserves drew 0-0 last night at Sutton against Portsmouth.

24/03/99
A team of ex-Dons took part in the London Masters tonight. In a fun evening we played West Ham and Spurs in the Group stage. Against West Ham we won 2-0 in an 8 minutes each way match but yet again lost to spurs 2-1 with Terry Gibson Missing a penalty for us. Hans Segers who was in goal also managed to get sent off against Spurs with 2 seconds left on the clock for deliberate Handball. It was a great evening and would advise anyone who enjoys six aside games to go to the next contest.

23/03/99
Michael Hughes Will go in for his Groin operation following the Man United Game on Easter Saturday. This will mean that he can play for Northern Ireland against Germany at the weekend but after Man U will be out for the season.
Wednesday Night is the London Master so my site will not be updated.

22/03/99
Kevin Miller and Craig Foster of Palace are believed to have signed for the dons in a deal worth £800,000. This deal will be completed prior to the transfer deadline on Thursday.

21/03/99
Joe Kinnear who return to Hospital on Monday to for a check up is believed to have lost 2 stone in weight.
With the Transfer deadline on Thursday this week it was rumoured yesterday that the Charlton Goalkeeper Sasha Illic was at the game as a guest of the Dons.

20/03/99
Once again we showed that we are incapable to perform against teams in the lower third of the table. A 3-1 defeat against Blackburn does not show how bad we were in the first 30 minutes of this game.
Blackwell replaces Perry in defence.

19/03/99
Dean Blackwell should be back in the team for the trip to Blackburn as Perry has a torn thigh mussel.

18/04/99
Joe Kinnear will go back to hospital on Monday to see how he is getting on since his heart attack.
The Reserves drew 1-1 at Brighton last night.

17/03/99
Between now and the end of the season we still have a big say in the destination of the title and who remain in the Premiership. With games involving Arsenal, Chelsea & Man United in the top Three and Coventry Blackburn and Southampton in the lower end. It is important that we show the team still has heart and battles for every point and not just against the big teams. Blackburn on Saturday will be a big test to see how the season will finish.

16/03/99
Next Wednesday sees a team of classic ex-dons players take part in the London Masters at the London Arena. The team is believed to include Dave Bassett, Mick Harford, Alan Cork, Terry Gibson and Lawrie Sanchez to name a few. I will be going so a full report will be posted here.

15/03/99
Ekoku is quoted as saying we may have to settle for the Intertoto cup now to qualify for Europe. Well based on current form we will be lucky to finish in the top 10 let alone above clubs like Derby and Newcastle. I trust the players have not given up on the season now that cup glory has passed us by.

14/03/99
For some strange reason the MOM award for yesterdays game in the Sunday People was given to Crossley. I didn't think that we troubled him that much.
The people also report that we are interested in Coventry defender Gary Breen. Does this points even more to the departure of Chris Perry?

13/03/99
After having one of the best 'home' records in the Premiership it has all gone pear shaped. Defeats by Everton earlier in the season and now Leicester and Forest show how poor we currently are.
Big changes were made today with M.Hughes, Euell and Ekoku all on the bench and Kennedy, Gayle and Hartson playing.

12/03/99
JK has been discharged from the Hospital in Sheffield and has returned to London.
No suspensions but Blackwell is likely to miss the game with Forest on Saturday. Will it be to much for us to ask for us to score a Goal!.

11/03/99
Following Chelsea's defeat in the FA Cup last night our game against them that was down for the 10th April is likely to be moved to the 11th April as Chelsea are likely to be in the Semi Final of the Cup Winners Cup which is played on the Thursday before.

10/03/99
The reserves drew 0-0 with Wycombe tonight in a game that saw Lawrie and Gibbo send a team out against the dons for the first time. Wycombe were reduced to 10 men early in the 2nd half when one of their players picked up a second booking. This was quite funny as the ref had left his cards behind and just said Your Off and then went to get the linesman's cards so that he could show him that he was not joking.
JK will not now be moved before the weekend.

09/03/99
JK will not be moved until the end of this week at the earliest as he is not well enough to travel.
The reserves are in action on Wednesday Night when we play Wycombe at Sutton, I will try and get some more information on his condition then.
The papers today have said we are interested in Kevin Miller Goalkeeper of Crystal Palace he will cost in the region of £600,000 stories like this make it more likely that Sullivan will be off in the Summer.

08/03/99
JK Should be moved to a London Hospital on Tuesday.
In the newspaper match reports The Daily Telegraph mentioned about fans queued to sign a big Get Well card. David Kemp said his Match Report to JK would be "It was Shit".
The London Masters a 6 aside contest has been arranged for 24th March at the London Arena, it should be a good night and I will be going.

07/03/99
Vinnie Jones announces that he is to quit football.
Sam says he is not sure when and in what capacity JK will come back to the club.
Liverpool are shocked at being told Sullivan will cost £5 million This story was on Marc Jones's web site earlier in the week.
In a good Sports First story David Emery writes an article totally contradicting what Rob Sheppard said in The Express on Friday about Us and Palace merging.

06/03/99
If you are a user of the WISA Chat site you will be aware that we were organising a big card for JK. This was very successful and although difficult to add up how many signatures we got it may be in the region of a thousand. Thanks to everyone who signed.
JK should be out of Hospital either Monday or Tuesday.
Vinnie Jones was at the game on Saturday did he talk to Sam about the Reserve Job!

05/03/99
The papers seem to think Joe will not be on the bench again this season as we are almost safe. He is still in Hospital and will stay there over the weekend.
John Hartson is in the squad for the Leicester Match.

04/03/99
Joe is still in hospital and will be kept in for the next couple of days. Last nights win put us 6th in the table.

03/03/99
Joe Kinnear was taken to hospital prior to the game at Sheffield Wednesday tonight suffering with Chest Pains. At about 6:15 the coach arrived and the team came off the coach Joe spoke to me and two other Dons fans and gave us some free tickets, about 10 to 15 minutes latter an ambulance went past the away end where we were standing two of the northern wombles came over about 5 minutes latter and said that Joe had been taken to hospital we spoke to a couple of stewards and police officers and they confirmed that after being looked at by the Sheffield Wednesday doctor he was advised to go to Hospital. It is believed that he is being kept in overnight but his current status is given as comfortable.
Other News Dons Reserves match called off.

02/03/99
Team News for game at Wednesday: Thatcher and Hartson Suspended so Kimble will be at Left Back. Everyone else fit.
