SMS Text Service
If you are unable to follow AFC Wimbledon in person, or via the various
internet services this season, and have access to a UK mobile phone you
can receive news of all the major action as soon as it happens.
Subscribe to the club's official SMS service and you will receive our line-up,
any goals, the half-time score and the full time result. Each message you
receive will cost you 25p - so for example if was to finish 2-1 that would
cost you £1.50 in total.
Messages will be provided for all AFC Wimbledon first-team games - Ryman
League Premier Division, FA Cup & Trophy, the London and Surrey Senior
Cups and the Westview Cup.
We are able to offer two services this year - a full subscription service and an
"On-Demand" service.
Full subscription Service:
To subscribe to the full subscription service send the message DONS LIVE
START to 83248. You will be sent a confirmation SMS which will include
details of how to unsubscribe (as simple as sending the message DONS
LIVE STOP to 83248). Unsubscribing works as quickly as signing up, so if you
receive a message and realise you have forgotten to cancel the service,
do it immediately and you will probably be in time to stop the next
message being sent to you.
"On-Demand" Service:
If you just want to know the current score, send the message DONS LIVE
to 83248 and you will get the most recent message. The message you receive
will cost you 25p. In the event you get the team line up after the expected
kick off, this means the score is still 0-0 and the first half is still
being played.
Your message should arrive with you within around 15 seconds of its
being sent if using either service. If you are not the bill payer or under
the age of 18 please ask the bill payer's permission before signing up for the
service.
